My
name is John Garcia, a senior currently working on my B.S. in Allied Health
Sciences with a health sciences concentration. When looking for another study
abroad program to go on, I realized that the UConn in Cape Town program was essentially
the perfect program for me. Not only does this program offer great educational
value to its participants but it also offers an unforgettable worldly
experience. In my opinion, knowledge and education are one of the most powerful
tools we have and it has always been a goal of mine to get the best education I
can. I believe this program will help me do just that. I
will be able to learn and broaden my outlook on human life, culture, and healthcare
systems and I am grateful for UConn’s offer of such an amazing program
